About the Role:
Join West Chester Academy as a Violin Teacher, where your passion for music will inspire students of all ages. We are looking for a dedicated educator to nurture talent and foster a love for playing the violin in a supportive and creative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized violin instruction to students of various skill levels.
- Develop lesson plans that align with students' goals and interests.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback regularly.
- Prepare students for participation in recitals and performances.
- Maintain a positive and engaging lesson atmosphere.
- Stay updated with the latest teaching methods and violin techniques.
- Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress and expectations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in playing the violin and knowledge of music theory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Passion for teaching and fostering a love for music in students.
- Patience and enthusiasm to work with diverse learners.
- Background check clearance required.
